Table Rolls and Looper Rolls are manufactured to be used in
hot rolling mills of flat rolled steel (sheet) production plants.
These
rolls, which are in contact with high temperature steel, act as transfer and
cooling. In order to withstand these harsh working conditions, nickel-based
thermal powder with Ni-Cr-B-Si composition is coated on the roll surfaces. In
these coating applications where 1 - 1.5 mm thickness is obtained by
spraying-melting method, 58-62 HRC hardness is achieved.
