 Flame Wire Spraying

The basis of the system is the spraying of the metal or metal alloy wire, which is directed to the flame formed by acetylene and oxygen gas mixture, from a gun with the help of compressed air of molten or semi-molten particles.

The most common coating materials are wire formed carbon steels, alloy steels, stainless steels, aluminium, copper, bronze, cobalt, nickel, molybdenum, tin, zinc, etc.

During coating, the temperature of the workpiece is kept under control and distortions and dimensional deformation are not allowed.

Coating thickness over 5 mm can be obtained with this system. High roughness coatings (ra: 20 µm) are the most obvious feature of the system.
