Abrasive wheels consisting of aluminium oxide and silicon
carbide grains are used depending on the type of material to be grinded. With
abrasive wheels of different grain sizes, binders and hardnesses, it is
possible to grind all kinds of steel and hard chrome coatings.
Abrasive wheels made of pure diamond grains are preferred
for grinding hard coated surfaces such as tungsten carbide, chrome carbide and
ceramic.
Ø 1500 mm x 6000 mm grinding belt machines can be used to
process roll surfaces in high quality. Aluminium oxide, zirconium oxide, pure
diamond belts are used in these processes.
